Contacting an Amazon Delivery Company for Missing Packages
Customer can track packages by contacting the delivery service, like UPS and FEDEX. The purchase confirmation email sent by Amazon can be used to find the package tracking number and the name of the delivery company.
Contact the company online or via the telephone to track packages. The delivery service generally advises that the customer also contact Amazon before starting an investigation for missing shipment or items.
Find Amazon Customer Service Telephone Numbers
Amazon does not publish Customer Service numbers on the website, at least not easily located. However, the company employs live customer service staff to answer questions. Finding the company’s phone numbers requires some research and going outside the site.
Amazon is a publicly traded company and it files quarterly reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC. The most current filing with the SEC provides Amazon’s corporate office number and address.
Go to the SEC website, search for “Amazon Com” or stock symbol AMZN to find the most current filings. The first page provides the corporate phone number; use this number and ask for Customer Service. Currently, the corporate number is (206) 266-1000. Amazon corporate address is 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle WA, 98109.
Use the White Pages Business telephone directory to find Amazon numbers. Search for “Amazon Digital Services” and use Seattle, WA as the business address. Currently, the White Pages list the same number as the SEC filing plus the (206) 266-2335 number.
From experience trying to locate an Amazon missing package, I found and used the direct Customer Service Contact phone number, (866) 216-1072 for domestic and international purchase orders.
These numbers may change in the future, but using the SEC filings and the White Pages Business directory will help to locate Amazon's support telephone numbers. Note that the company is located in Seattle, WA when searching.
